Exhibition Concept

“The Tipsy Home” is a project to introduce and promote a new way to enjoy Washitsu (a Japanese room), and traditional Japanese Sake.

The members involved in this project are architects, illustrators, and Sake professionals all working in Berlin.

We all want to utilize our areas of expertise collectively to introduce traditional, and modern Japanese culture, Washitsu, and of course Japanese Sake in a new way that is easy to understand and enjoy.

We all fell in love with Berlin, especially the way Berliners enjoy art with a beer in their hand.

So at “The Tipsy Home”, we hope you can enjoy art in a Washitsu with a glass of Sake in your hand!
